Hi,

```
I want to debug the learning to rank plugin. All the unit tests are RandomizedTestingTask, how can I debug these unit tests with breakpoints?
```

There is no need to wrap your question between triple "```". That is just used for formatting structured text such as logs and code.

About your question, I am assuming this plugin was created following our [plugin tools](https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/elasticsearch/plugins/current/plugin-authors.html), if it's the case, then you can run test with `gradle test --debug-jvm` and then attach a remote debugger with your preferred IDE (both IntelliJ and Eclipse supports remote debugging).
