I keep getting the following line in my output:

`Unable to parse line: "logstash.%{host}.spaces.GET./api/673283b4667df11448015951bc0450"`

I am trying to get additional information as to why the parser is failing. I've tried replacing the `/` with `.` and `_` but it is still failing...

**Questions**

1. So the main question that I was not able to find, is there a way to set a more informative debug statement? Or any other recomendations on tracking down this issue.

2. Is there a way to hardcode the output prefixes? **i.e.** I set the prefix to be `collectd-update` and it shows up in metrics as `collectd-update72bc3f60a0e0`
