# How to delete an index from snapshot?

I am taking snapshot of three days data:\> filebeat-1970.01.01 filebeat-2016.12.19 filebeat-2017.04.18. Now I want take snapshot of filebeat-2017.04.19 and delete filebeat-1970.01.01 data and so on.  
Is it possible to delete data from snapshot taken?

No, you can only delete a snapshot, not part of it.
