# How to delete the es cluster/settings

in es 5 the cluster settings is error in [xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:9200/\_cluster/settings](http://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:9200/_cluster/settings)  
how i can delete the settings in es 5.x or empty the cluster settings.

i slove it ,  
set the value of settings to 'null' can empty the cluster settings.
