# How to fix \[error\]\[status\]\[ui settings\] Status changed from green to red - Elasticsearch plugin is red

hi,  
how can i fix this please ? [error][status][ui settings] Status changed from green to red - Elasticsearch plugin is red

i can't use this solution from @thomasneirynck to disabled xpack, i need it !

Hi,

could you please provide the full logs from your Kibana instance, so we can check, what's actually causing the Elasticsearch plugin to turn red? There might be different reasons for that.
