Hi everyone,

I am looking for a way to generate reports or logs when indices are deleted as part of an Index Lifecycle Management (ILM) policy in Elasticsearch. Specifically:

\*Does Elasticsearch provide built-in reporting or logging for index deletions triggered by ILM?

\*How can we track and extract this deletion history for compliance purposes?

\*Are there best practices to generate structured reports based on ILM deletion logs?

Any insights or recommended approaches would be greatly appreciated.
