# How to get labels on pie chart visualization

I have just started working with Kibana and I wondering if there is a way to add labels to the actual parts of a pie chart visualization. Right now I can hover over the pie pieces and see what the pie represents, but I would like to place a permanent label on each pie piece. Is this possible? I am using kibana 5.5.2-windows.

sorry for the late reply.

Currently there isn't the possibility, but we are working on getting this done. You can check the pull request [#12174](https://github.com/elastic/kibana/pull/12174) for more details.
