Here are our docs for generating a SAML metadata file. [https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/elasticsearch/reference/7.9/saml-metadata.html](https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/elasticsearch/reference/7.9/saml-metadata.html)

@Catherine_Liu

How do I find out what the realm name is before executing this saml-metadata command?

Appreciate it!

If your SAML realm is already configured, you should be able to find the name in the `elasticsearch.yml` file. Otherwise, here are our docs for configuring SAML [https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/elasticsearch/reference/7.9/saml-guide-authentication.html](https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/elasticsearch/reference/7.9/saml-guide-authentication.html).
