# How to graph only the stack total?

Hello David,

It sounds like you want the [cumulative sum aggregation](https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/elasticsearch/reference/current/search-aggregations-pipeline-cumulative-sum-aggregation.html) for a running total. Does that sound right?
