# How to implement Keep alive in logstash using JDBC input

Hello Team,

I have a question about a bug in my environment, I am using logstash to extract data from the oracle database, our logstash is running on AWS the sql takes 100 sec to run on average, but at some times of the day it takes more than 400sec, when it takes more than 400 sec we have noticed that the session is dropped by the gateway. Can I implement a keep\_alive in a JDBC input?
