Hi , i have more than 1 million data and the total space is 4GB+ .

My search function is now taking more than 400ms to return the search result.

Previously it was less than 20ms. Is there any steps to monitor the performance of ES?

How to improve the speed

Thanks

I would recommend you use [Marvel](https://www.elastic.co/products/marvel) for monitoring.

If you provide more information on the structure of the documents you have indexed, as well as your use case and queries, it might be possible for us to give hints on possible performance improvements.
