I just executed the below command which returned the elastic search disk space

GET \_cat/nodes?v&h=id,diskTotal,diskUsed,diskAvail,diskUsedPercent

Output:

id diskTotal diskUsed diskAvail diskUsedPercent
qzxs 9.6gb 8.7gb 858.8mb 91.29

I'm using ELK docker image and one single node to store shard. I have free space in the machine up to 200GB. I just want to increase the disk space from 858.8 mb to 20GB so that the capacity of storing the data will be large. Can someone assist me how can I achieve this.

Also I added the below config properties using cluster settings API for my single node.

```auto
    cluster.routing.allocation.disk.threshold_enabled: true
    cluster.routing.allocation.disk.watermark.flood_stage: 20gb
    cluster.routing.allocation.disk.watermark.low: 30gb
    cluster.routing.allocation.disk.watermark.high: 25gb
```

I am unable to increase the disk size for my elastic search which is running in docker containers.

Elastic search version: 7.9.0

Welcome to our community! 😃

This is a docker issue, as it is exposing the filesystem to Elasticsearch. You will need to consult the docker docs for your operating system.
