# How to install Elastic License

Hi All,

I have installed free trail elastic search in my laptop. now it has expired..i have the license in my laptop for 1 year , but i am not able to install it. I have tried unsing below script but its didnt work.  
curl -XPUT "[http://localhost:9200/\_license](http://localhost:9200/_license)" C:\Users\IBM\_ADMIN\Downloads\anil.json  
please help me out Thank you very much
