# How to make Kibana Dashboard auto-refresh data by default

Hi,
Is there any way to configure auto-refresh settings by default for a Kibana Dashboard. I want to make following is the default configuration of my dashboard.
Appreciate any response on this. Tried to save dashboard with above refresh item enabled, but seems like it's not persisted.

Hi,
you can do this if you save the dashbaord with the option "Store time with dashboard".
But in this setting your timerange is also saved, so if you select last 1h and refresh every 30 seconds, everytime when you open the dashboard this settings will be applied.

Management \>\> advanced settings \>\> Time filter refresh interval
Is another solution.
