# How to measure performance of Logstash

Hi,
i need a tool to measure the performance of Logstash - i want to try different configurations and choose the one with the best performance (minimum time until i get the output).
What is the best way to check it?

@parrot Logstash now has a monitoring UI since v5.2. It requires X-Pack, but is free to use under the Basic license.
