# How to monitor processing query search time?

What is the easiest way to monitor the processing duration time of a User search query in Elasticsearch?
I have installed Kibana and under: Monitoring / Elasticsearch indices, the Search Rate (/s) is showing nothing.
I also read this article: [https://www.elastic.co/de/blog/monitoring-the-search-queries](https://www.elastic.co/de/blog/monitoring-the-search-queries) but is looking pretty time expensive. Is there an easiest way to achive that?
