# How to monitor the JVM stats

How to monitor the JVM statistics using metric Beat? Have gone through [https://www.elastic.co/blog/brewing-in-beats-add-support-for-jolokia-lmx](https://www.elastic.co/blog/brewing-in-beats-add-support-for-jolokia-lmx). Would like to know is there any other options using the standard Beats.

Hi @mruthyu,
As far as I know we don't support other ways of extracting JVM stats, do you have any concern in particular with the current solution?
