# How to open markdown link in new page

Hi experts,

I am using Kibana 5.3 and I want to open link in a new tab using kibana Markdown visualization. This is what I tried  
google\_link{:target="\_blank"}  
I also tried HTML (code:

google\_link

) but nothing works , Please help me .

Currently this is not possible. There is an outstanding PR for the same request.
