# How to overwrite detected processors

Hi there,

How can I override the detected processors. In the doc related with thread pool say just write down  
Ex.

processors: 2

But don’t say where:

[https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/elasticsearch/reference/current/modules-threadpool.html](https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/elasticsearch/reference/current/modules-threadpool.html)

I want to do that in order to run two nodes in the same server

It means you write this in your `elasticsearch.yml` config file:

```auto
processors: 2

```

(replacing 2 with the number you want, of course)

I swear I tried that but had an error. Now I tried again and it works, lol
