# How to preselect the only option in child Control filter dropdown list if Parent Control filter dropdown options are selected?

I added multiple dropdown filters from the control visualization. Now, at first i select the options in the parent filter dropdown list. If there is only one option to select in the child filter drop down list, it should automatically select it. Is this possible in the kibana 7.5 version?

There is no way to preselect the option in Input control sadly. You can add an enhancement request here: [https://github.com/elastic/kibana](https://github.com/elastic/kibana)
