Hello,

An update. When the data is pushed, it created the new index. But we would like to merge the old data.

Thank you,

Hi,

I am missing the larger context here, but the typical backup / restore approach for Elasticsearch is to use the [snapshot and restore API](https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/elasticsearch/reference/current/modules-snapshots.html). Provided you have created a snapshot before you have deleted the index, you can use the restore API to load data.
