# How to replace time filed with @timestamp

In search page I want to replace time with @timestamp in Kibana 4. Please guide me.

Nagesh,

Time _is_ `@timestamp`, or whichever time-series field you choose. Any particular reason why you wanted to make the change?

I thought both will display different format and we can't change it. I got to know that I can change the format of Time using the settings.
