Can you please help me to find the way to get the elastic search data from the server physical location.
Basically i'm looking for a physical file of document where the data is getting stored.
I have lost some document files from elk server which holds the data, i have the backup of the document file which will solve my issue by restoring from backup.

Help me to get the physical location of document file.
Thanks in advance !!!

There isn't a way to retrieve data directly from any files on disk, and [filesystem backups do not work](https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/elasticsearch/reference/current/snapshot-restore.html#snapshot-restore).
