# How to run two instances on different ports with different configs

Hi there!

I would like to run two instances of Kibana on a single server. What is the best method to do so? Preferably without using Docker.

One of the options I could think of:  
Have two instances of Kibana.  
Make the second instance listen do a different port.

I understand that. My question is how do you install two instances of Kibana and have them running concurrently on one server, using Debian, downloading Kibana manually, or however?

You didn't stated your OS so my answer was OS free.

Cannot help you further with Linux, I'm running Windows Server.
