# How to secure the Kibana Front end

Hi,

I've a working ELK stack in my DEV environment and accessing Kibana front with the URL [http://localhost:5601](http://localhost:5601). What can I do to secure my Kibana front end and access it through [https://localhost:443](https://localhost:443).

Please suggest me

Hi,  
Am glad that you have decided to secure Kibana. To secure a cluster, you must install X-Pack on every node in the cluster.  
This would guide you to secure your cluster 🙂
