I am trying to send logs generated by filebeat to Elastic search so that any error occurring in filebeat can be seen at central place.

Please guide me if this is recommended or how should I do it. Because filebeat watching it's own filebeat log files creates recursive logs when parsing errors are encountered.

We are using open source version of Elastic stack
