# How to set config in Elasticsearch with the official document

I read the official documents of “Set up Elasticsearch” this chapter, it is not clear for me how to enter these instructions in the win7 specific operation.  
**_Such as this article：_**  
[https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/elasticsearch/reference/current/important-settings.html](https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/elasticsearch/reference/current/important-settings.html)  
with this instructions: “[cluster.name](http://cluster.name): logging-prod“  
when i try enter: “elasticsearch -Ecluster.name: logging-prod“  
Always prompt error！

_ **For example, another article：** _

what is that mean in this sentence：  
“On Windows, the equivalent can be achieved by disabling the paging file entirely via System Properties → Advanced → Performance → Advanced → Virtual memory.“  
what should I do？
