# How to show dynamic data in kibana

I just created a dashboard using ELK and MySQL to get the daily attendance of users in an organization. But my dashboard is not showing results in daily [basis.It](http://basis.It) is always showing same data when day change. what can i do to changing data dynamically based on date

@saafianihan when you defined your Index Pattern, did you select something for the "Time Filter field name" as highlighted below?

If you did, then you should see a "time picker" in the upper right hand corner of your screen when viewing a Dashboard that you let you change the time period:
