# How to test if Elasticsearch-http-basic auth works

Hi, I have installed the http basic auth plugin according to [Asquera/elasticsearch-http-basic](https://github.com/Asquera/elasticsearch-http-basic)

Also, I config the config/elasticsearch.yml with some basic settings.

After restart the elasticsearch, I am wondering how can I test if the auth works or not?
