# How to toggle visibility of lines from line chart

Apologies in advance - I suspect this is just a n00b question ☹
I have an issue whereby I would like to filter out some lines on graphs in my visualisations... I see this issue was pretty much previously raised here:

"simply click on the value in the legend and then click on the magnifying glass with the minus ( `-` ) in it"
However, when I click on the value in the legend I seem to just get the option to change the color of my line (i.e. a color palette appears)... I don't seem to be able to get the magnifying glass or how to filter out the lines
