# How to tun two ES nodes on same server on two diffrent cluster

HI ,

We need to migrate one of the node from one ES cluster1 to ES clsuter2 without any data loss during the process , so we are trying to execute one more instance of elasticsearch on same node with cluster.name as cluster2 . but we are facing challenges in it , so please help with process for migration .

ES version :7.7

It is not possible to migrate a node from one cluster to another. Use [snapshot and restore](https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/elasticsearch/reference/current/snapshot-restore.html) to migrate data between clusters.
