Hello,

I am trying to prepare custom dashboard by using [span.duration.us](http://span.duration.us) field.

My query is what is the value inside [span.duration.us](http://span.duration.us) field is value in microsecond?

If it is microsecond how do i apply logic to see them in milisecond in heatmap

Regards
Pratiksha

Hi Pratiksha!

Grabbed the below from the [documentation](https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/apm/guide/master/exported-fields-apm-span.html):

```auto
span.duration.us
    Duration of the span, in microseconds.
    type: long
```

So looks like its in microseconds.
