# How to use date\_range field in kibana?

Can I use date\_range field in kibana?

for example,  
index:  
time: {  
"type":"date\_range",  
"format":"yyyy-MM-dd HH:mm:ss"  
}

create index\_pattern in kibana,  
I want to select time field as the @timestamp field.

is it possible?
