# How to use Filebeats for collecting Windows events and Microsoft Exchange Logs

Hi,

Currently, we are using NXLOG to ship Windows events and Exchange logs in a Windows environment. How can we replace NXLOG with Filebeats. Is it matured enough?

Filebeat only ships file logs so you'll want to use Winlogbeat for the Windows events. I haven't used Winlogbeat so I can't vouch for it but I'd say Filebeat is pretty mature.
