# How to use Metricbeat Docker module in Docker Swarm

I found [this](https://discuss.elastic.co/t/trouble-running-metricbeat-5-3-0-with-docker-module/82204) other post. It also suggests running as root or using `setfacl` which I don't really understand. Are those really the only options?
