hello, i want to ask a question about virtualization.
we are using HyperV (Windows Server 2012 R2) , but we are not sure this platfrom officially supported for es.
does anyone know that HV is included in the supported virtualization platform ?

Hi @etelci,

I am not sure what you mean exactly by "supported". All combinations of OS / JVMs / ... that we (Elastic) support with a commercial support subscription are listed in the [support matrix](https://www.elastic.co/support/matrix). These are the combinations that we regularly test and hence know their characteristics.

Virtualization should be fine though if you don't overallocate.
