I have a local.properties file in my git repo for an Android project

I have a local.properties record in my git repo for an Android venture. On my manufacture server it is looking at git and running gradle focuses to execute unit tests. The assemble server is linux and I'm on a macintosh so where the Android SDK is introduced is unique, I could change yet would prefer not to.

Does ANDROID_HOME supersede local.properties; can't tell in case I'm setting condition variable accurately in Jenkins (Build Server) or if local.properties beats env variable.

Note: You will also need a local.properties file to set the location of the SDK in the same way that the existing SDK requires, using the sdk.dir property. Alternatively, you can set an environment variable called ANDROID_HOME.
