# I have created ubuntu server for receiving logs from fortigate30e using logstash

Its not working and everything points to a network error, fortigate30e cant ping our ubuntu server but ubuntu server can ping fortigate firewall. Does anyone know anything we could try to fix network issue or could this be from a configuration failure on ubuntu or fortigate firewall.
