# I have ISO3 country codes in ES, how can I transfrom to ISO2 country code for vector MAP visualization?

I have ISO3 country codes in ES, how can I transfrom to ISO2 country codes for vector MAP visualization?

Hi Stephane,

I think this is a use-case for [Logstash](https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/logstash/current/getting-started-with-logstash.html). You'll probably need to use an [input plugin](https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/logstash/current/input-plugins.html), [output plugin](https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/logstash/current/output-plugins.html), and [translate filter plugin](https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/logstash/current/plugins-filters-translate.html) to convert the country codes to ISO2.
