# I want change kibana header

I want change kibana header，my kibana is kibana-5.6.2。I want to change header "kibana" and icons

You'll either need to write a [hack plugin](https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/kibana/current/development-uiexports.html) that uses the browser's API to modify the title, and replaces the `<link>` tags Kibana uses to control the favicon, or you can modify [src/ui/ui\_render/views/chrome.jade](https://github.com/elastic/kibana/blob/master/src/ui/ui_render/views/chrome.jade) to have the values you want
