# I want to add the custom control in the dashboard where i need to enter new data in the control which should reflect on the dashboard is there anything like that?

Hello @Aditya_Patidar,

Welcome to the community!

When you say "enter new data," do you mean filtering and displaying only the data you want to explore? If so, there are [Control panels](https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/kibana/current/add-controls.html#add-controls) available with three types of controls: options list, range slider, and time slider.

no I mean completely new data which is not in the dataview and only can enter such data to filter the dashboard like my problem is that i need to add a filter for pay range of multiple different dollar and i need to add it on the dashboard for maual enter and want it filter out based on the enter how can i do it
