# "\[ignore\_throttled\] parameter is deprecated because frozen indices have been deprecated

Are you saying that we cannot use Elasticsearch 7.15.x, 7.16.x, 7.17.x if we do not want to see this deprecation warning (even if we're not using frozen indices)?

Coming from [Default IndicesOptions in SearchRequest and disable specific deprecation warnings](https://discuss.elastic.co/t/default-indicesoptions-in-searchrequest-and-disable-specific-deprecation-warnings/299242) this feels weird. ☹
