# \[ILM\] How to rerun same phase after modified lifecycel policy

ES 7.2.0

Situation:  
Index has completed warm phase of lifecycle policy, I change the policy, but ilm will not rerun the warm policy.  
I have tried restart ilm/re-put index lifecycle, but it not work.

How could we rerun modified lifecycel policy on the same index?
