# ILM policiy

I have hot and warm. I want to move indexes that are more than one day old to a warm node. How can I achieve this - what steps should I follow? Logstash writes data to index =\> "name {date}" , not to datastreem

this is not what I need, the elastic has terrible documentation, for two weeks now I have not been able to find an answer to the simple question of how to roll over the indexes once a day, sending the old ones to warm, and then deleting them, and keeping the new ones in hot. Elastic instruction does NOT answer this question
