# \[ILM\] Unable to remove Index priority on existing index lifecycle policy

Steps to reproduce:

1. Create a new policy `mypolicy`
2. Leave all fields to be default
3. Save policy
4. Edit `mypolicy`
5. Remove Hot phase - Index priority value
6. Save policy
7. Edit `mypolicy`

Result: Hot phase - Index priority changed back to 100.  
In some cases, the index priority value may become 1 instead of 100.

Expected result: Hot phase - index priority field value is blank

This issue also occurs in Warm and Cold phases.
