# I'm getting plugin:elasticsearch@6.2.4	 Authentication Exception

Hi ,

I'm new to ELK, I have just managed to install elasticsearcch and Kibana without any issues.  
However after executing kibana the dashboards showing below warnings

plugin:elasticsearch@6.2.4 Authentication Exception

Hi Prabu,

that usually means, that the login data in your `kibana.yml` that Kibana used to connect to Elasticsearch is wrong. Could you please check your `kibana.yml` for `elasticsearch.username` and `elasticsearch.password` and check that those are the valid login data for the Kibana system user.
