# Importing ndjson file of kibana dashboards from DEV kibana to Prod Kibana using jenkins

Hello Elastic Team,

**Elastic and Kibana version : v 8.4.2**  
**configured on: Azure elastic cloud**  
How can we import ndjson file of kibana dashboards from DEV kibana to Prod Kibana using jenkins?  
Our requirement is to integrate UAT dashboards on production environment without intervention of our on to production.

Please suggest.

Hi @Mangesh_Mathe,

One is by scripting it using the [export](https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/kibana/8.4/saved-objects-api-export.html) and [import](https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/kibana/8.4/saved-objects-api-import.html) saved objects APIs, and run that as part of your CI pipeline.
