# Inconvenient size limitations in Logstash server

Logstash is not receiving logs using UDP protocol (tiny limit on the message size) the connection between Logstash server and my staging server is failing in sending out data , after investigating it appears that it’s a limit on size issue. however, the same Logstash server in the production environment is not facing this issue, can someone help? the staging server and Logstash are public connections but the production and Logstash is private network.
