# Incorrect date format in Aggregation Based Table in Kibana

Hello,  
I just upgraded Elastic from 8.4.3 to 8.5.2 and I'm having a problem using fields of type "date" in tables created in Aggregation Based in Kibana.

The reason for using table in Aggregation Based is the 'Export' option it allows. I need date type fields to be Buckets in this table.

In the attached examples, I am using the "surgc\_date" field (a field of type date). I changed the format "surgc\_date" to "DD-MM-YYYY HH:mm" in its Data View (surgc-\*). This custom format is shown in tables created in Lens, TSVB and even Aggregation Based when "surgc\_date" is used as a Metric, but not when used as a Bucket.

It used to work on version 8.4 but now not on 8.5.  
Can someone please help me?

Hey, there was a bug on v8.5 with the field formatters. It will be solved in 8.6 that is going to be released soonish 🙂 Sorry for any inconvenience.
