# Increase heap size of Elastic Cluster in dev tools

Hi all,

I'm trying to increase Elastic RAM alloted to Elastic.

I know i have to change

```auto
-Xmx=1G -Xms=1G

```

in jvm options file.

But I have access only to elastic and kibana.

Is there a way to increase in dev tools or any other way?

Hi @Sandeep_Raju

No, unfortunately you can not change the heap through the Dev Tools
